MISSION STATEMENT

To contribute towards enhanced crop production and national food security through research, plant protection technologies and services in a cost effective manner.

Plant Protection Research Institute (PPRI) principal fields of research are:

  • Plant Pathology
  • Plant Entomology
  • Plant Nematology

In addition PPRI has six sub stations which are strategically located throughout the country. These are:

Bezely Bridge (Manicaland),Gokwe (Midlands),Chiredzi (Masvingo),Magunje (Mashonaland West),Muzarabani (Mashonaland Central) and Henderson ((Mashonaland Central)

 

Plant Pathology
